The Orangery, Maidstone, formerly Turkey Mill, is deemed to be a ‘natural beauty’ in terms of Kent’s wedding venues & it certainly does not disappoint!

Set alongside the River Len, the venue offers 9 acres of glorious, well-established, gardens complete with a large lake & waterfall.

From the moment you walk through the large garden walls, you are greeted with a truly tranquil setting & a feeling of complete escapism from the busy world outside.

You simply step into a different world & the sound of babbling water & the sight of those magnificent, & very old, Blue Cedar Trees & Wellingtonia Pines, makes it incredibly relaxing indeed.

The Orangery, which is available for exclusive hire, provides couples getting married with a choice of 3, very different, ceremony areas. A truly ‘all-year-round’ venue, it offers 2 outside options, being the Garden Gazebo and the newly introduced (at the time of writing) Lapa.

It also provides an in-door option, being the beautiful Garden Room. The Bride’s entrance to the Garden Room is truly unique in that she walks over the bridge to her waiting partner & guests – a very special entrance.

The wedding breakfast takes place in the, aptly named Orangery!
This is one of those venues where two photographers are a must, as it’s so vast and we’re simply able to be in two places at the same time! As you will probably already know, ALL of our packages provide two photographer coverage, which suits this venue perfectly.

Being able to cover both the Bride’s & the Groom’s activity all day, ensures that nothing is missed. Two photographers also ensure the coverage of the day itself, including all the celebrations, laughter & love.

We have covered many weddings at the venue so we are very familiar with the venue layout & how they operate on the day. Everything is very well organized by the team at The Orangery & couples are offered a wedding coordinator who helps them with the planning of the day itself but more importantly is present on the day to ensure it all runs to plan.
