The Broome Park Estate of 250 acres can be found just outside Canterbury, close to Barham. At the heart of the estate is a 17th Century, Grade I listed, Mansion House which is accessed by a long drive from the main road. The ‘Carolean’ architecture of the Mansion House makes this venue historically unique. The venue feels palatial & the internal decoration is rich & luxurious giving an overall feeling of opulence. The rooms boast stunning, ornate, ceilings with rich & powerful colour palettes. With 18 individually designed suites & additional accommodation in the form of 14 Lodges, which are set in the woodland surrounding the Mansion House, your guests are well & truly catered for.

For weddings, it’s a very grand indeed & the historical backdrop makes for stunning wedding photography. The venue can accommodate weddings throughout the year providing couples with the choice of taking their vows both indoors & outdoors. The most stunning of these areas is the Italian Gardens, with its unique Archways which are set in beautiful landscaped gardens.

Blushing Bride Photography have been photographing weddings at Broome Park for many years now & we have covered weddings indoors, in the Mansion House itself (Georgian Room) & outside in the magnificent Italian Gardens. Couples also have a choice of where they host their wedding breakfast although this is very much determined by numbers. For smaller, more intimate weddings, they can host their reception in the Georgian Suite & for larger parties they have their a purpose built, glass walled, marquee.
